Mark Ort, CFA

Mark Ort joined Glazer Capital in March 2001 and became a Partner in 2009. Prior to joining Glazer, Mark worked at ING Barings, where he started as a Programmer in 1996. He subsequently moved to the business side and spent two years on ING’s International Equities trading desk. In 1999, Mark helped launch ING Barings’ Global Convertible Securities Trading & Sales business, covering hedge funds and institutional investors domiciled in Europe who invested in the convertible securities of US issuers. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Touro College, summa cum laude in 1997 and is a CFA® Charter holder. In his spare time, Mark enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and playing roller hockey.
